Research is the "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge", according to Wikipedia. It is indeed researchers who push the boundaries, innovate, and break our limits as a society. But it is often neglected as a career choice. We believe that it is due to the lack of awareness. Our speaker will tell you why research is important and all about research opportunities available today.

AKSHAT KUMAR
Mr. Akshat Kumar is a research intern at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He mentors students through Lockdown Learning, which is a non-profit he co-founded, and through TutorMe. He has a record of academic excellence and has received several awards to show for it. He has been part of sundry research projects revolving around Data Structures and Mathematics.
